Ericka McCarron, RN, President

Ericka is the owner and founder of About Face Medical Aesthetics, PLLC, NH’s leading aesthetics practice. A registered nurse since 2001 and specializing in plastics and aesthetics since 2005, Ericka has extensive knowledge of the human face and how it ages. Her advanced injection training, years of experience, gentle touch, and aesthetic eye draw patients to the practice and keep them coming back.

Ericka has been a faculty member of Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) since 2011, training physicians and mid-level providers on technique, safety, and application of Botox® Cosmetic, Juvéderm® Collection of Dermal Fillers, Coolsculpting®,and Kybella®. Additionally, as a Certified Master of Coolsculpting, she has advanced training and years of Coolsculpting experience. This allows her to apply the highest level of skill and knowledge when treating our Coolsculpting® and Cooltone® body contouring patients.

Ericka travels frequently throughout the U.S., collaborating with colleagues and immersing herself in her trade to provide the most cutting-edge products and techniques to her patients. She is an active member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN), American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals (AAMEP), and International Nurses Association (INA). Ericka loves spending time with her children, Devyn and Colin, family, and friends.

Jill Bickford, BSN, RN

Jill Bickford, BSN, RN

Jill received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Rivier College in 2003 and spent 14 years working at Exeter Hospital specializing in critical care. Although she enjoyed the challenges and rewards of the ICU, she decided to follow her dreams and join the team at About Face in 2016 to pursue her passion of medicine, art, and beauty. Jill received her initial training in neurotoxins and dermal fillers from the Esthetic Skin Institute. Through the years, Jill has trained extensively with practice founder Ericka McCarron, and continues to receive advanced training regularly from distinguished institutions and world-renowned injectors.

Jill has vast experience performing all treatments here at About Face including Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser hair reduction, IPL, Coolpeel, and VirtueRF. She is also a Certified Master Provider of Coolsculpting®, being one of a select few in the Northeast with the most advanced level of Coolsculpting education.

Enhancing features and creating subtle changes that allow her patients to feel confident and age gracefully inspires Jill. She enjoys continuing education in the field of aesthetics to keep up with the latest techniques and procedures in this ever-changing industry. Most of all, Jill loves spending her free time with her husband Damon and their two beautiful children, Josslyn and Dylan.

Sarah Scanlon BSN, RN

Sarah Scanlon BSN, RN

Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis College in 2006 with magna cum laude honors. From there, she worked as a Registered Nurse in a variety of capacities including psychiatric nursing, home care, and as a school nurse. As a Nurse Injector, Sarah was able to foster her true passion for aesthetics while integrating her knowledge of anatomy and healthcare background. Sarah attended the National Laser Institute for her initial training in the administration of neurotoxins and dermal facial fillers, as well as laser treatments. Additionally, she is Physician and Nurse trained in advanced filler injection techniques with Microcanula. Sarah has worked as a nurse injector for 7 years. She joined the About Face team in November 2018, where she continues to attend advanced trainings and seminars to provide the best possible treatments with the latest technology. Sarah takes pride in her attention to detail and thoroughness, ensuring her clients are at ease and comfortable throughout the treatment process while delivering a safe and aesthetically pleasing result! While Sarah is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her 2 young children, husband, and their English Bulldog Malcolm.

Lisa Gage, Medical Assistant & Coolsculpting Master

Lisa Gage, Medical Assistant & Coolsculpting Master

Twenty years of working in a primary care setting as a Medical Assistant gave Lisa a strong foundation when she joined the About Face team in 2015. As a dedicated senior member of the team, she has worked many aspects of the practice, administrative and clinical. Lisa has received extensive advanced training in Coolsculpting, becoming one of the select few in the Northeast to become a Certified Master Provider of Coolsculpting®.

As About Face’s lead Coolsculpt provider, Lisa's number one goal is ensuring her patients are at ease and making sure they feel comfortable by building trusting relationships and delivering pleasing results. With so many different options, Lisa understands that there isn't one technique or treatment plan that will work for everyone and will find the right option that best works with the patient’s individual needs. She is passionate about providing the best possible Coolsculpting experience, from start to finish.

When she is not working, you can find Lisa spending time with her husband, son, longtime friends, and has a great love for the outdoors.

Jennifer Leblanc, LNA and Coolsculpting Specialist

Jennifer Leblanc, LNA and Coolsculpting Specialist

Jennifer is a Licensed Nursing Assistant and advanced skilled phlebotomist. She spent 15 years at Exeter Hospital as an LNA/ Unit Coordinator with her primary focus in Progressive Care. In 2008, she was nominated by her peers as LNA of the year and was recognized in an award ceremony at the NH State House. In May of 2018 Jen made the leap into Aesthetics and joined the About Face team due to her passion for helping people look and feel their best. Since then, Jen has obtained her certification in Coolsculpting®. Jen is also the lead provider of our newest body contouring technology, Cooltone®, helping About Face patients achieve their muscle toning goals.

Outside of the office, Jen enjoys reading with her book club, and spending time with her husband, Brad, and daughter, Bianca.

Makenzie Levesque, Patient Coordinator

Makenzie Levesque, Patient Coordinator

As a Patient Coordinator, Makenzie is often the first person to greet patients when they walk through our doors. Makenzie joined our team in 2019 and prides herself on helping each patient have a memorable experience.

When Makenzie is not working you will find her training her horse for equestrian competitions, a passion she’s had since she was 11 years old. Makenzie enjoys spending time with her family, and most of all the love of her life, her dog Steely.

Devyn McCarron, Patient Coordinator & Marketing

Devyn McCarron, Patient Coordinator & Marketing

Devyn started her career at About Face part time in 2018 while attending school at the University of New Hampshire. In 2019, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Studies, Devyn transitioned as a full-time patient coordinator working alongside her mom, Ericka. In addition to helping us offer our patients a one-of-a kind experience, Devyn also manages the practice’s social media accounts.

In her off time, Devyn enjoys spending time with her Rottweiler/Doberman mix (Jaws), Maine Coon cats (Lemon, Blueberry and Peach), and Friesian horse (Knilles).

Christine Michelson, APRN, Medical Director

Christine Michelson, APRN, Medical Director

Christine was an intensive care nurse before studying at UNH to earn her master's degree and become a nurse practitioner. Christine became the medical director for our team in 2016 and also serves as a hospitalist at Exeter Hospital. She previously worked as a strength and conditioning coach, helping clients meet their health and fitness goals. Christine's time off is spent with her dog Marley or traveling the world.

About Face is located in beautiful Stratham, New Hampshire. The newly designed space was influenced by the business’s earlier years in a restored barn, but with an added touch of modern elegance. Our patients enjoy the little details that have been taken to ensure a private, relaxed, and inviting atmosphere. The unique space coupled with our attentive staff makes for a memorable patient experience.
