What to Expect During Your SKINVIVE Treatment

Your SKINVIVE treatment at About Face will be a stress-free process taking only about 15 to 30 minutes to complete, and can easily be added to your Botox or neurotoxin treatments. First, your provider will apply a topical numbing cream to your facial skin. Then, using a very small needle, they will inject SKINVIVE intradermally or just below the skin’s surface, with micro-droplets through multiple microinjections. The hyaluronic acid then works to attract water molecules that aid in hydration. Skinvive not only moisturizes and fills the skin with hydration but also rejuvenates without adding volume.

What Is the Recovery Like After SKINVIVE Treatment?

After your SKINVIVE treatment, you may resume your normal routine either the same day or the next day. Your skin in the treated area may be a bit red, swollen, and sore, but these symptoms should disappear on their own within a few days. To ensure proper healing and optimal results, you should wait at least 24 hours prior to wearing makeup and not engage in strenuous physical activity. It’s also important to avoid direct sun exposure and alcohol consumption for the first 24 hours after your treatment.
